Tasting notes
Beautiful gold color with sparkling silver highlights. The whole is limpid and brilliant. Voluble and spirited, this cuvée just begs to be taken out of the bottle.
The nose opens quickly with airy notes of white fruit and fragrant flowers reminiscent of reseda, wild rose and lily of the valley. With aeration, a fresher touch of bergamot and citron complete the complex, delicate picture.
On the palate, there’s a mingled sensation of silkiness and energy, where the balance illustrates the care taken with this terroir cuvée. The palate is suave and complete. The grape varieties express themselves to the full, bringing their typical aromatic finesse and full-bodied structure.
Pairings
Enjoy within five years with vol-au-vent, poultry supremes, fish en papillote and shellfish. For the more adventurous, goat’s cheese and hard cheeses.
