THE 5 WINE RANGES

THE WINEMAKER'S PITCH

My name is Georges Perrot and I am proud to be a self-taught winemaker.

Unlike many winemakers from multiple generations, I was not born into winemaking.

However, my maternal grandmother passed on her passion for nature to me through her vegetable garden when I was a child.

This planted the seed of a dream to one day become a winemaker.

Thanks to a romantic encounter, that of Delphine, who became my wife, and through hard work and perseverance, this dream became a reality:

The birth of Domaine La Collière in 2002.

Today, we manage our 25 hectares together, blending and tasting our wines hand in hand. Our estate is a reflection of us, where love and passion are one and the same.

And we’re happy to share them with you.

THE WINE ESTATE

The birth of an exceptional wine estate in Rasteau

In the span of one generation, Georges has acquired vineyard parcels over the years and now operates 25 hectares in the commune of Rasteau, in the Rhône Valley.

He works diligently on a strict grape selection, environmentally-respectful winemaking, and traditional vinification, resulting in wines with subtle aromas, delicate textures, and exceptional quality.

The estate offers a fine range of wines including AOC Rasteau, Côtes du Rhône, IGP Vaucluse, and sweet wines.

With a respectful approach to nature, the estate is currently in organic agriculture.

An alliance between Tradition and Innovation

Overlooking the vineyard, the estate has equipped itself with a production facility tailored to the crafting of quality wines and the development of wine tourism.

This 500m2 building comprises:

  • A winery equipped with traditional concrete and stainless steel tanks, as well as demi-muids and two concrete eggs.

  • An ageing cellar

  • An office

  • A cellar

Georges’ Encounters in his Vineyards

In the vineyards, I had unexpected encounters with the local wildlife. One morning, I caught a rabbit nibbling on the young shoots while a curious bird watched my work intently.
