STORY

The path of an enthusiast transformed into a winemaker

Georges Perrot, born into a family unrelated to agriculture, discovers his passion for the land through his maternal grandmother’s garden.

His childhood dream of working in the vineyards is born without much hope, as he has no land to cultivate!

Thanks to Cupid, he met Delphine, daughter of a winemaker, who becomes his life partner and driving force in the project to become a winemaker.

His father-in-law then passes on to him his passion and expertise in vine cultivation.

Georges then creates his own wine estate of 15 hectares, which he operates either through leasing or sharecropping in the municipalities of Rasteau and Buisson, delivering the grapes to the cooperative.

He has now become a winemaker, but a new challenge beckons: producing his own wines.

With a stroke of luck, his friend André rents him an old cellar, giving birth to “Domaine La Collière”.

Meticulous in grape quality and selection, he crafts and offers a diverse range of wines: Rasteau, Côtes du Rhône…

Today, Georges has his own cellar and operates 25 hectares in Rasteau, in organic agriculture now.
